How to publish a Google doc as an embedded doc on OpenPrescribing - bennettoxford/openprescribing GitHub Wiki

  • Write google doc;
  • Publish doc by selecting "Publish to the Web" from the File menu then select "Publish";
  • Find the identifier in the URL of the doc;
  • In the openprescribing code, add an entry to the GDOCS setting, mapping the path of the document on openprescribing.net to the identifier;
  • Deploy!
  • any updates made to the doc will be automatically published and fetched onto OP but may not appear til cloudflare cache is cleared, either manually or automatically every 4 hours.
  • you can clear the cache via bennettbot by saying @bennettbot op clear cache
