Document the use of "Simulation Mode"
-Simulation mode simulates the commands that you run and lets you visualize them to see where the commands like ping
are going.
Document how to save configurations on routers
-To save configuration go to the config tab and ten click Save NVRAM, then restart the router by going to the physical tab and turning it off then on again.
Enter useful Packet Tracer Tips/Tricks you pick up
-I know how to use the simulation tab and its filters now.
In this lab we built a network, sent ping commands across the network and observed the results. We observed the role of the router in the network. A command that was useful was ping
command, the physical tab on the router, and the web browser on the laptop to get a connection between the laptop and the server. The only issue I ran into with the lab was the unclear instructions on things such as, what wire to use in step 1, step 4 under traffic analysis packet tracer section of the lab and what the physical tab is.
