  • In this lab we setup packet tracer, built a network in packet tracer and then pinged different PC's on that network using the ping command.

  • It was nice in the lab to have the network laid out ahead of time and the instructions were nice and clear with the right amount of example pictures.

  • I did not have any trouble with this lab. It was well made with good instructions.

How do you deploy workstations and switches in Packet Tracer?

  1. In the bottom left corner of packet tracer click on network devices.
  2. Click on switches.
  3. Click on the first option under switches that says 2960

How do connect these devices with cables?

  1. Click on the lightning bolt in the left corner of packet tracer.
  2. Click on the cable labeled Copper Straight-Through
  3. Click on the machine that you want to connect.
  4. Select the port you want on your machine.
  5. Click on the switch you want to use.
  6. Select the port you want on your switch.

How do you access the command-line terminal on a Packet Tracer PC?

  1. Click on the machine you want to access the command line on.
  2. Click on desktop.
  3. Click on command prompt.
