In this lab we setup packet tracer, built a network in packet tracer and then pinged different PC's on that network using the
ping
command. -
It was nice in the lab to have the network laid out ahead of time and the instructions were nice and clear with the right amount of example pictures.

I did not have any trouble with this lab. It was well made with good instructions.
How do you deploy workstations and switches in Packet Tracer?
- In the bottom left corner of packet tracer click on network devices.
- Click on switches.
- Click on the first option under switches that says 2960
How do connect these devices with cables?
- Click on the lightning bolt in the left corner of packet tracer.
- Click on the cable labeled Copper Straight-Through
- Click on the machine that you want to connect.
- Select the port you want on your machine.
- Click on the switch you want to use.
- Select the port you want on your switch.
How do you access the command-line terminal on a Packet Tracer PC?
- Click on the machine you want to access the command line on.
- Click on desktop.
- Click on command prompt.
