• Open packet tracer

• Click on the switch

• go to the vlan tab

• create a new vlan

Entry for configuring an interface as an Access port

You select access from the drop down menu in the interface config.

Entry for configuring an interface as a Trunk port

You select trunk from the drop down menu in the interface config.
