enthusiasm and desire to control everything and have everything in head is good for small, but bad for teamwork in bigger company

getting by doing X, and doing Y,Z by seat of pants is ok for small company. but not for bigger one. someone has to get keys cut for new onsite employee (for example). or manage processes for expenses. or pay attention to employees who care about their job rather than the company as a whole. or whose view is (rightly or wrongly) different about wha tis right for the company as a whole.
