programming mode vs helpdesk mode - benclifford/text GitHub Wiki
bit like maker schedule vs manager schedule
noticed when a new project that i wasn't doing a huge amount on paper for, i ended up doing lots of "concentration breaking" technical help-desk/support style stuff. gave up on real project work and played on facebook in between such requests because no point trying to page back into the "maker" mode.
i've also noticed when i've worked in this when people have tried to do kanban style task oriented things on me - the tasks I'm doing in that mode are rapidly created, executed and destroyed (within seconds to an hour)
