TAZ System - bellevuewa/BKRCast GitHub Wiki
The BKRCast model aligns its geographic scope with the Soundcast regional travel demand model, emphasizing the urban centers of Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond, along with their surrounding areas. In the BKR region, a PSRC TAZ is subdivided into several smaller BKR TAZs, while outside this region, multiple PSRC TAZs are combined into larger BKR TAZs.

TAZ Jurisdiction, Subarea, and Other Districts
Subarea 1 to 14 represent subareas in Bellevue; 15 to 29 represent subareas in Kirkland; 30 to 40 represent subareas in Redmond, 41 to 50 represent fringe area.
Auto terminal time is determined by subarea.
BKRDistrict is only used in Daysim BKR customization. See BKR Customization for details.

Terminal time is saved in destination_tt.in and origin_tt.in, located in [base_inputs]\IntraZonals.

Park and Ride
Park and ride are coded in centroids. So far ui2 has the base year capacity values but it is for information only. The PnR capacity is hard coded in an external file named p_r_nodes.csv located in [base_inputs]\pnr folder.
