Project Meeting 2016.11.03 - bellevuewa/BKRCast GitHub Wiki
##Employment
- ESD ok with LODES-based employment
- PSRC will do a new LODES-based employment model run next week
- If it looks ok, then they will share the buffered parcels file with BKR and RSG
- BKR will also help with the review of the data and model results to help QA/QC
##Model Updates
- Four key updates
- 4 time periods instead of 12
- bike slope data added to bike network
- population over/under sampling for BKR
- latest version of DaySim, which is much faster; PSRC model runs went from 180min to 40min
- All inputs and setup scripts have been committed to GitHub
- Model doesn't quite run yet; UPDATE - we fixed the issue!
- The issue was the HDF5SkimScaledAndCondensed setting was missing, which was added with the clean-up related to moving the PSRC specific functionality into a PSRC.DLL
- @Ben - send PSRC's machine specs to BKR
- Bellevue maybe buy a new machine with lots of threads so DaySim and EMME run faster
##Bellevue Running the Model
- Hu download and ran the model
- Model run took 17 hours
- PM peak hour volumes looked ok even though employment is goofy
- Hu corrected some things:
- VDFs
- network coding
- network attributes like speeds and capacities
- He will send us updated model input files when PSRC sends over the updated buffered parcels with LODES data
- @Hu and @Stefan to discuss parcel/TAZ consistency issues
##Special generators
- @Nagendra to update the inputs using the PSRC to BKR zone crosswalk and add to the model setup
