BKRCast Model Setup
Draft full model setup with new BKR zone and network system is complete
@Ben to review and commit setup to this repo so we version "releases" that we send to the City
Will send the setup to the City by Friday the 14th so they can start getting familiar with it
Initial results of the PSRC model run summaries look good, except for trip lengths are twice as long
Random employment at the parcel level could be the problem
This setup is without zone over/under sampling and with 12 time periods instead of 4 (AM, PM, MD, EV+NI)
Next version with sampling and 4 time periods expected to be done by 10/31
Employment Data
PSRC assignments with LEHD/LODES data look quite similar to those done with the ESD data
@PSRC planning to share a buffered parcels file with the LEHD data next week
employment fields and calculated fields should have been revised
Shuming requested @PSRC prepare a scatterplot of employment by TAZ as well
Bike network
PSRC's script to calculate bike network slope is not fully automated so the BKR network bike slop is currently 0
@Ben to ask PSRC to run it against our BKR network; Ben to send network to Brice
Maintaining Parcels
BKR will likely develop an equivalency table from PSRC parcels to BKR parcels so BKR can maintain their own parcel database but periodically update it based on PSRC's work as well
PSRC Model Updates
PSRC has removed the no toll skims from the model setup and it runs faster and produces less data
We will roll-in PSRC's updates with the next release (and maybe the bike slope data as well)
