Running Homebridge with this plugin in a Docker container:

If you are using oznu/docker-homebridge I would recommend using the ubuntu version:

  • The Ubuntu version

    • Running the Ubuntu variant should work better than the default alpine version
    • See more info on how to do this in the Try the ubuntu tag section of oznu/docker-homebridge

  • The default install, using Alpine Linux

    • A required file ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 is not present in Alpine Linux. This might be able to be resolved by making sure the following commands are executed in the container:
      apk update
  apk install libc6-compat
    • I make no guarantees that this will work!
