Most of the 6 Pack does not need a cooling fan. If you use plug in stepper modules, you can run them at a higher current if you cool them with a fan or (2). There is a (3) pin header connector at each end of the controller that can be used to power a fan. They have 5V and the voltage you supply to the controller on them. Just Search Amazon for "40mm Fan" Make sure it only has 2 wires. A third wire might indicate a variable speed connector, which is not supported.

Be very careful connecting. You should only use 2 of the pins, ground and the voltage you need for your fan. Do not put a jumper on this connector. That could destroy the controller.

The standard case has (2) mounts for fans. They are designed for standard 40mm square fans to be mounted on the outside. It probably works best if they blow at into the case. The air is vented over the modules.

You don't need a very powerful fan. It will be overkill and annoyingly loud.
