Using "Assign Vegetation Height"

This tool is meant to allow users to use the BCAL Lidar Tools raster functionality with previously height filtered/Classified las files. It works by interpolating a surface through points classified as ground and calculating the height above ground of all none ground points. The height is stored in the las file and is used by the rasterization routines.

Usage:

• Select the input file(s) to assign. If multiple files are selected, they are processed sequentially.
• Select the output directory. The output files will be saved in the new directory with the same name as the input files.

Notes:

• This tool requires data that files are in the LAS format.
• This tool requires data to be previously height filtered/Classified.
