AlwaysOnTop - bakkeby/dusk GitHub Wiki

AlwaysOnTop is a flag that indicates that the client window is intended to always display on top (even above other floating windows).

This flag may also be set if a _NET_WM_STATE_STAYS_ON_TOP client message is received for the window.

As per the default configuration the following window types are by default always on top:

  • dialog
  • utility
  • toolbar
  • splash
