Users have the ability to "subscribe" to Video Channels and see videos from these as part of their feed or in New & Updated. At this time, bookmarking is limited to YouTube, but other providers like Twitch will be added in the future. While it is possible to manually add these Video Channels on the Manage Providers page, it is generally recommend to use the search functionality on the Manage Programs page to more easily find and subscribe to them.

However, no matter how the Video Channel is added, it can always be modified or removed in the Subscribed Video Channels area.

This includes revealing Video Channels that have been "hidden" so they no longer show up in search. At this point, if you make them active again, they will no longer be "hidden" and will become visible.

One of the core items of subscribed Video Channels that you can control is what types of videos you want to get:

For YouTube, there are categories of "Regular", "Live", and "Shorts". You can make any combination thereof, differing per channel. By default, all are selected, but this can also be modified at any time, including at the time of bookmarking.

Also as noted above, you can also manually add a subscription by filling in the necessary details, most notably the Link.

The Link requires an exact format to be accepted. Some examples are:

  • YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/[Unique YouTube Channel ID] (i.e., https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChog1pAtNqX2S9GzxF2lryg)

Further, if you no longer wish to be subscribed to a Video Channel, you can just click the Delete button to remove it and be "Unsubscribed". Do note that any videos from that channel that you have bookmarked will remain in your assigned Video Groups. It is up to you to remove them from there, if desired.
