The letter from Dominguez arrived 3-4 weeks ago. The investigators do some research: Francisco de la Vega is a henequan farmer and land baron, owns large chunks of land It is a legal requirement to seek permission before entering his lands The interior of Yucatan is mountainous There are many small settlements within the jungle There is an airport Cars do not work in the jungle They hire a student to come to Yucatan: Daniel Aguilar Delgado The morning newspapers report on an earthquake - there were no casualties The language that Leticia was singing in is not a human language. The investigators decide to listen to all the records to understand what effect they all have: De La Luz: it has a somehow a bit of an hypnotic effect - Under control Cancion del Cuco: they feel how some base instincts kind-of wake up - Under control Armonia de los Dioses - Nolan feels the urgent need to take some nectar - he does and spends the next 3 hours going at it (he gets locked in his room without any more nectar - 11 vials remaining) Nolan became addicted to Nectar Caricia de los labios - Michael feels amazing (relaxed and no pain) as he feels as if lips and a tongue were caressing his skin Grunido de la montana - already happened - the vision about a mountain with a gullet / throat - compulsion to draw it Arrive to La Paz at 1.30pm Elena Alcatraz is happy to join the expedition, she mentions that there are some relevant books and will join Daniel at the library to find them Mikhail tasks Sergei to make it official and Elena will wait at the hotel (NOT with Nolan) The investigators meet Konovalov at 2pm at La Paz Konovalov accepts to change jobs and work for Mikhail. He hands over something written by Brooks referring to Chichen Xoxul. Mikhail sends Konovalov away and the investigators go to the library. They find three books that talk about Chichen Xoxul. The investigators decide that everything is now closed in Mexico City and are ready to go to Merida - maybe need to wait for Robert?

In terms of planning for next time, the group sees as the biggest problem to convince Francisco de la Vega to let them go through his lands. Options: Get Robert to wow Francisco re. Movies and get permission to do tourism Tell him that they are after the expedition of Dominguez Tell the truth of why they are there and what they are after
