Session 17 - 22nd Jun 2025 In-game date: Friday 23rd November 1934 - about 9pm The investigators escape the house through the backyard 10pm made it back to the apartment Address of Leticia de la Luz: La Cruz 29, Apartment 18 Janet sent word to the investigators on the 23rd Nov lunch time: The researcher looking at the sample has gone crazy - done all set of tests to the sample, obsessed over it, stopped sleeping, barely eating, and after not going to work for a few days, was found by the police going around the back alleys trying to buy more of that drug… Last leads: Visiting the address of Leticia Meeting the band of musicians at La Paz Saturday 24th Nov, at breakfast Visit the apartment: Found a poem for Leticia It looks like somebody packed in a rush Took cloths, jewels and a record player, leaving behind an expensive camera and a watch Her photos have been damaged, ruined mouth and eyes The neighbours have spotted them running out of the apartment The investigators go to the library and spend time researching the topics that they could not decipher before. The mural that reads in Spanish: “The Maw of the Mouth is in the Devouring Mountain”, includes the following symbols in a mix of Mayan, Aztec, Nahuatl: Mountain, Mouth, Moon, Rain, Earthquake The text at the back of the poster says (in a non known language): If one could but glance the eternal glory of Golxumal for an instant, then one could forever find the path which would lead them hence. Alas, in the beautiful words of her song one can only see the rock which shield’s paradise from the unworthy world. They learn that the band still works with Leticia and Brooks - they were recording “yesterday” They are taken to the recording studio blindfolded “for the protection of Leticia” - as per Kanavalov The band is scared, and holding something back When they record, they are in separate recording rooms - they have not seen Leticia is about 4-5 weeks, since they changed the routine and starting recording elsewhere Brooks is very demanding and nothing is good enough
