A holy cross belonging to the mother of Genial Brooker.

When dropped into the mouth stone, it "killed" it.

The cross was later retrieved from the stone. It was a simple wooden cross, with a leather cord. No imagery or inscriptions were on either. The cross was made by either Genial Brooker's mother or father, both now deceased. His mother owned it. She was a strict puritan rather than a devout catholic, with strong moral views. She was not a loving woman.

The cross was sent to a lab for analysis.
