Curious about what happens next when you submit data?

At the Atlantic Canada Conservation Data Centre, we have standard quality control procedures:

• identifications are questioned and verified if the data are not provided by a biologist/organization with biology expertise
• data analysts perform spatial QC on observation locations using GIS software
• data analysts perform QC on attribute information, like dates and observer names
