Arsenal - astruyk/Ares GitHub Wiki
This section allows you to add or modify arsenal layouts for containers as well as providing some pre-configured arsenal objects. You can also paste Arsenal loadouts from one container to another (or from a container to a vehicle or other object).
Note: It appears that as of Arma 1.34 you can no longer edit the virtual items on non-ammobox objects. You can still use Ares to add/remove items from the boxes with copy/paste but will not be able to edit the contents afterwards.
Add All ...
- Usable On: Any empty object that can have a virtual items added to it.
When placed on an object this module will go through all of the loaded mods and attempt to add all Weapons, Items, Uniforms, Backpacks, and attachments to the box automatically.
A dialog will be shown to help you customize the items added to the box with the following options:
- Combine Or Replace - Determines if the new items will be added in addition to any existing items in the box or if they should replace the existing items.
- Add Gps? - Determines if GPS receivers will be included in the items added.
- Add Thermals? - Determines if items with thermal capability (e.g. Nightstalker, laser designator) will be added automatically.
- Add NVG's? - Determines if NVG's and NVG scopes should be added.
- Static Weapon Backpacks - Determines which sets of backpacks for standard fixed weapons should be included.
- UAV Items & Backpacks - Determines which UAV backpacks and tablets to include.
- Automated Weapon Backpacks - Determines which set of backpacks for automated turrets should be included.
Note: You can always customize the items that were added to the ammo box afterwards, so don't fret too much about getting the options in the dialog exactly correct.
Copy to Clipboard
- Usable On: Any object that contains virtual (Arsenal) items already - including the default ammo boxes.
When placed on an object that has an arsenal loadout defined (whether from Ares or by editing a normal Zeus ammobox) this module will copy the information about the objects within to the clipboard. You can then save the data in a text file for later, or use it to immediately paste onto a new object.
Paste & Replace
- Usable On: Any non-player editable object (Vehicles, Static objects, etc...)
- Affects: Only the object placed.
Takes Arsenal data that was previously copied to the clipboard and adds the items from it the object on which this module is placed. Any existing items in the object already will be removed.
Paste & Combine
- Usable On: Any non-player editable object (Vehicles, Static objects, etc...)
- Affects: Only the object placed.
Takes Arsenal data that was previously copied to the clipboard and adds the items from it the object on which this module is placed. Any existing items in the object already will be preserved.
