This integration uses the features built into Home Assistant to localize sensor values, program names etc. Names of entities (sensors, switches etc) are created in the global language in Home Assitant. English is used as fallback if the specific language is not supported by the integration. Device are always created in English. They can of course be renamed by the user after initial setup.

Local mapping of programs

Since sometimes Miele API is reporting different programs for the same numeric program id and appliance category, the program name reported by program sensor of this integration could be wrong. For this reason, it is possible to specify in configuration.yaml a local mapping, in order to provide the correct program names of your appliance. For example, for tumble dryers such as TCJ690WP or TCR790WP, configuration should be specified as:
