Double Eged Swords can be thrown by holding the use button. After being thrown they will bounce back to the owner if they hit a mob or a block. If the thrown sword doesn't find it's owner it will drop as an item.
Some Double Edged Swords have effects that can be triggered by punching/hitting them.
