As of Changeling 1.2.3, there is a new survival morph menu, which is now the way to morph in survival. The demorph key and recent morph key are still available. Changeling's survival morphing controls and UI are different from Metamorph and have a few improvements.

Morphing and demorphing

You can open the survival morph menu using the suvival morph menu key. The survival morph menu shows you your list of acquired morphs. Here, you can attempt morph into one of your acquired morphs, or demorph into the player again. Upon attempting to morph, the survival morph menu will close. Morphing may fail for a variety of reasons: for example, there may not be enough space for you to morph without suffocating. If morphing fails, you may see a message explaining why morphing failed. You can then attempt to morph again with the recent morph key, or demorph with the demorph key.

There are several ways to morph and demorph using the survival morph menu:

• Click on the "Demorph" button to demorph back into the player
• Click on a morph to select the morph, then press the "Morph" button to morph
• Use the arrow keys to select a morph to morph into, then press enter to morph
• Double click on a morph to morph into it
• Assign a keybind to a morph in the menu, and then morph outside of the menu using the keybind

Navigating morphs

If you have a lot of morphs, a scroll bar will appear for browsing morphs, and you can also scroll through morphs using the mouse scroll wheel.

If you want access to specific morphs quickly, consider adding them to your favorites. Select a morph and toggle the "Favorite" latch to add the morph to your favorites. You can remove the morph from your favorites using the same steps. You can toggle the "Only favorites" latch to choose between viewing your favorite morphs and all morphs.

Removing morphs

You can remove a morph by selecting a morph and then clicking the "Remove" button. Removing morphs cannot be undone. By default, you can re-acquire a removed morph by killing the mob for that morph.
