this is a tutorial on checking synchronisation of the ultrasonic data and either before you do your recordings or immediately after you've completed your recordings and right click on the ultrasonic setup and select sync recordings and just make sure that the settings are appropriate for the data you have so here we've got data with the acoustics on channel one and the ultrasonic sync signal on channel two it's a reasonably loud signal so our threshold of two to five thousand will be sufficient for that we don't want any offsets we want to make sure that it's selected on channel 2. and we want to make sure that we're not ignoring any part of the start of the sync signal so this should be set to zero here and finally make sure that the synchronisation signal is missing box is not checked this should only be checked if there is no synchronisation signal
