The AnalogMAX-01 Evaluation Kit samples and captures analog data from a signal source, and then transmit that data to a PC to be displayed in a graphical user interface GUI software. The kit is composed of these elements:

• One AnalogMAX-01 module
• One USB cable
• GUI PC Software

• PC with at least two available USB ports, running Windows, with a web browser.
• Analog stimuli to test such as: smoke or aerosol source, a heat source, and analog signal source.

Note that even without specific stimuli, you can still observe the overall function of the Evaluation Kit. Temperature and analog sensing can be demonstrated by placing your finger on the sensors and watching a change in temperature or AC noise pickup.

The sensors are controlled by an Intel^® MAX^® 10 FPGA, which manages a serial command protocol across a USB interface. Serial commands are sent to the module to cause it to generate a sample record and then respond with the sample values. Data may be displayed in a GUI.
