Quorum - arealive/Viper GitHub Wiki
Wall Street mega-bank JP Morgan has co-developed a private, permissioned version of the ethereum network.
Called Quorum, the platform was developed in partnership with ethereum startup EthLab, and it is one of the first projects to come out of a working group within the bank known as the Blockchain Center of Excellence.
Amber Baldet, program lead for the division, explained that JP Morgan is now looking to open source its blockchain technology work in order to get more developers involved.1
Porosity is now integrated with JP Morgan's open-source Quorum blockchain created for enterprise-grade solutions, and it will now be available on the bank's Github page.
Tested with the help of some of JP Morgan's own engineers, Porosity and Quorum are expected to be packaged together to help run real-time smart contract security checks. The bundle, integrated directly into the Go-language ethereum implementation geth "out of the box," incorporates security and patching processes for private networks with formal governance models.
