File is not directory or folder.xml does not exist - archimatetool/archi-modelrepository-plugin GitHub Wiki

If someone forgot to schedule a planned maintenance window to do some impacting changes on the model (such as merging concepts, or moving objects, folders or views), or if someone forgot to publish his/her own changes before a planed maintenance window, then several conflicts can be raised. In this context, whatever the action taken (keeping mine or theirs), a message saying that "File is not directory or folder.xml does not exist." can appear, leading to a corrupted model (the underlying reason is documented here).

When this happens, the only option is to delete the local model from the workspace, and then import the remote model back in.

[!WARNING] Obviously, doing so will lead to all your local (non published) changes to be lost. If you don't want this to happen, then create a local copy of the model before (using the File > Save As... menu), and do a partial model recovery after.
