Armor Grade

multiplicative mode

in multiplicative mode, all bonus from equipped apparel stack.

damage reduction by grade

  • Ordinary - 5%
  • Earth - 15%
  • Heaven - 17.5%
  • Mysterious - 20%
  • Divine - 25%
  • Emperor - 27.5%
  • Dao - 50%

Example

if pawn wear 1 shirt(Earth), 1 glove(Mysterious), 1 shoes(Heaven). and take attack worth 50 damage

(1.00 * 0.185 * 0.8 * 0.825) = 0.561 = 56.1% damage reduction. so final damage will be

50 * 56.1% = 28.05 damage.

non-multiplicative mode

in non-multiplicative mode. only armor with the highest grade take effect.

damage reduction by grade

  • Ordinary - 20%
  • Earth - 50%
  • Heaven - 50%
  • Mysterious - 50%
  • Divine - 75%
  • Emperor - 75%
  • Dao - 90%

Example

if pawn wear 1 shirt(Ordinary), 1 glove(Mysterious), 1 shoes(Divine). and take attack worth 50 damage

since Divine is the highest grade among all equipped apparel, so final damage reduction is 75%

damage reduction from armor grade take effect before thing like Incoming Damage Modifier stat.
