The Zhove people are culturally very zealous and xenophobic. They also have strong mental abilities. Zhove have the capacity have the abilities of their Zhal ancestors and in some rare cases even posses the true power of the Zhalruum. Because of these things other ethnicities and races tend not to be quick to trust them. This response is not universal however and doesn’t not incur and inerrant social minuses. The Zhove people are made up of artists, scholars and the religiously devout.

Zhove have a chance of being born with the strengths of their Zhal for-bearers. Unlike their thannzho cousins this occurs in more than a small number of people within the population. Nearly a third of the populous has some sort of second sight ability.

Some Zhove in very rare instances are born possessing all of the power of the zhalruum ancestors and when this happens they child is usually taken by Nauctice for religious training. These people are refered to in their native lands and Tanu’Nauc.

The Zhal people have had a tradition of translating the Zeriquia and those who follow this tradition pride themselves in being on the finest of scholars.

Any art a zhove intends to learn they also intend to master. When a zhove puts work into learning a new art form it really shows. This dedication is called Fasasa.
