Thannve are the are the combination of Aemon or thann and Vedea blood. In Demarah they descended from Vedas from the fallen empire of Xiashan that once stretched from the Xitia to Abuan. Xiashan was the First empire of Zeriquia and their traditions of spirit worship still live on in both their people and in the modern traditions of the O'xti. The greatest honors in the Xiashan tradition are to become a feral kin and be inducted into the Legion of Samoht or to become the vessel of one of your ancestral warrior spirits and become a Xia'Ti(Raith).

In the modern day this ethnic group is mostly isolated to the southern shores of the great sea though Rede Thannve can commonly be found traveling the wheel. Eastern Salab is were they have claimed ancestral heritage and have the densest populous.
