TerraForged Guide
Download TerraForged-1.16.5-0.2.16-BETA-2
You cannot use previous versions of TerraForged because the presets WILL NOT work properly if so. This is an ALPHA version, so by default will not see this version on the website and in the CurseForge app. If you're on the website, you need to go to ALL files, and if you're on the app, you will need to go to the versions tab and install the one I mentioned.
Including the correct files & folders
Another important thing to keep in mind with these presets, it is extremely important that you use the entire "terraforged" folder I provided, and not just the presets, however, you may do as you please. If you don't, the biome weights will be completetly unbalanced. If you know what you are doing, you may change the biome_weights.conf file yourself if you do not like something.
Beware that for some reason TerraForged likes to favor any biome that is a "clearing" type biome. For example: seasonal deciduous clearings from BYG.
Increased CPU and RAM usage
TerraForged is a hefty world generator, so if you don't have a great pc, I would not use TerraForged. However, if you decide to anyways, you should probably add the mods RoadRunner and Starlight x Create.
My warnings if you use the mods I mentioned: for an unknown reason, Starlight (mainly) and RoadRunner have both been known to cause issues when creating a world, then some time later (may even take weeks), you'll notice that you can no longer load into your world. My suggestion is to remove Starlight and try just with RoadRunner. If the problem presists, remove RoadRunner as well. Your world should be fine, and if it's still not loading in, that's probably due to corruption of some sort.
Also, please add the RoadRunner folder to your configs folder I included because it disables some mixins that can, but not always, cause your world to deadlock unless disabled.
All that being said, I also do not recommend using TerraForged on a server with my modpack, unless you have really good hardware and plenty of RAM to spare. Even then, you will still notice a major difference in chunk loading times and overall TPS.
