Magnesium & Rubidium Incompatibility - antibang/BaerCraft GitHub Wiki

As far as I am aware, both of the mods Magnesium and Rubidium are nearly completely incompatible with BaerCraft. This is why I recommend OptiFine all of the time and never Magnesium or Rubidium.

They both cause consistent crashing on the client, both in a singleplayer world and while on multiplayer servers. I have tried to diagnose the crashing, however, it seems like no matter what I do, the crashing keeps happening. Not only this, but several others and myself experience worse FPS and more stress on our hardware than we experience with OptiFine.

We have significantly less issues with OptiFine by far. Of course, you are free to add Magnesium or Rubidium to your game to see if it works for you, but as of March 2023, these mods are still highly incompatible with BaerCraft. I apologize for this, but I am tired of trying to fix an issue that can be easily avoided by simply adding OptiFine as it causes fewer problems specifically with BaerCraft.
