Assumption: The person is not urgently ill, but is suspected of having the virus or having been personally exposed to it.

Person is already on base
- Everyone step back at least six feet
- Have the person phone the medical group -- Do not let the person go to the medical group in person unless a physician orders it.
- It is possible that a physician at the medical group will say no unusual precautions are needed.
- It is possible that a physician at the medical group will recommend treating the person as if infected.
- Have the person walk un-escorted to their car. Clear passageways of people before this occurs.
- Have the person drive their vehicle to the civilian facility recommended by the physician.
- "Deep Clean" areas where the person was.
- Medical group will begin contact-tracing, i.e. ascertaining who the person interacted with, and where on base they went. This is part of the medical group's protocol.

Person is off base
- Instruct them to remain off base.
- Instruct them to seek medical assistance at a civilian health care center.
