Supported devices

The card discovers enabled entities from the Wiser integration and groups them into the following types.

Heating

Heating rooms show current and target temperatures, HVAC activity, schedule information and native climate controls. Depending on the entity, controls can include Schedule/Auto, Manual/Heat, Cool, Off, target temperature and presets.

  • Follow schedule returns eligible rooms to Auto and cancels active overrides.
  • Cancel overrides targets eligible overridden or boosted rooms.
  • Boost all offers 30-minute, one-hour, two-hour and three-hour presets and applies the selected duration only to eligible heating rooms. While rooms are boosted it becomes Cancel all, shows the next boost countdown and cancels only boosted rooms. The normal Cancel overrides action returns after all boosts are cleared.
  • All off places every available, shown heating room into Wiser's normal Off mode. Wiser frost protection remains active.
  • Hot water and entities from other integrations are never included.

Passive rooms show their target range and open Home Assistant's full controls for range adjustment. Rooms that expose the related Wiser Passive mode switch can also use the Passive mode feature to toggle it from the card.

For hubs with multiple hydronic channels, Heating can optionally be divided into one section per channel. Heating entities and actuators without channel metadata remain supported and appear in a No channel section.

Shutters

Wiser shutters support open, stop, close and position controls when exposed by the entity. The section action is Close all. Scheduled shutters can also use Resume schedules.

Lights and dimmers

Lights support on/off and brightness where available. Their section includes All off, and scheduled devices can use Resume schedules.

Appliances

Appliances currently include Wiser smart plugs. They show schedule information and a Toggle control. When a related Wiser power sensor is available, live power usage is the prominent reading while the appliance is on. An appliance that is off shows Off instead of 0W. Values at or above 1000 W are shown in kW to two decimal places, such as 1.36kW.

The section includes All off, and scheduled devices can use Resume schedules.

Availability and safety

Unavailable devices remain visible but cannot be controlled. Bulk actions target only eligible devices of their own type. A failure for one device is reported without allowing that type's action to affect another device category.

Heating actuators, standalone iTRVs, PowerTags and smoke alarms are not currently separate card types.
