STT Processing

The bot can now be configured to listen in Voice channels and send text transcriptions to a text channel (one per server).

Usage

  1. Ensure that sst - enabled is true in your config.yaml

  2. In each server you wish to add STT:

  • Use the command /set_server_voice_channel to assign a dedicated VC for the bot to use

  • Use the command /set_server_stt_channel to assign a dedicated text channel for the bot to send transcribed messages

  1. Use the command /toggle_stt to actually toggle the feature on and off.

  2. Users who do not want their speech transcribed to text can use the command /stt_blacklist. Users on the blacklist will be ignored by the STT processing
