1. In this lab, we used simulation mode to see the packets travel all the way from the Foster Laptop to the Skiff server. It went from the foster laptop, to the foster switch, to the cncs router, to the skiff switch, and then finally to the skiff server.
2. To save a configuration on the router, you must save NVRAM. To do this, click on the router, go to config, and under settings, there is something that says NVRAM. next to it, there is erase and save. press save
3. unfortunately, i have not picked up any useful tips/tricks 😔 all i know for sure is that the wires to connect one thing to another is under the lightening bolt and that the routers and switched are under the first one...
