  1. Take appropriate version of the SkyView firmware from this location and unzip the archive ;

  2. Download firmware binaries into your SkyView hardware. Use the screenshot below as reference.

ATTENTION:   Eject micro SD card from EZ's memory card slot if any!

Use ERASE UI "button" to apply full flash memory erase prior to first flashing with SkyView's firmware. Then press START button and wait for completion.

  1. Power your SkyView hardware up. This boot-time logo should come up:

  1. Upon completion of the boot sequence, indication of missing incoming data will appear:

  1. You should take a Prime Edition MkII as a data source and set it up as follows:

  1. Connect your Tablet/Cellphone to SkyView Wi-Fi Access Point. SSID: SkyView-XXXXXX Key: 12345678

  2. Open up a browser then proceed to this URL: http://192.168.1.1

  3. A page like this should come up:

  1. Open up Settings menu. Select WiFi UDP connection option. Enter SSID and PSK of your Prime Edition MkII. Press Save and restart button.

  1. Upon restart, your SkyView's UI should indicate positive WiFi link and data conection status, as shown on this picture:

  1. SkyView's display will indicate that GNSS position fix is missing:

  1. Move your Prime MkII into an area of good GPS/GLONASS reception. SkyView will open up a Radar View screen. There will be likely no any traffic indicated:

  1. Take another instance of Prime MkII, power it up, pick GNSS fix and move it few hundred meters away. This second unit will be indicated on the Radar View by a traffic mark. Aircrafts counter (ACFTS) navbox will become incremented from 0 to 1. If your SkyView hardware is powered from battery, BAT navbox should indicate proper battery voltage value.

ATTENTION: 'Radar' screen may depict less traffic objects than reported by 'Aircrafts in sight' value when the 'Traffic filter' setting is active.

  1. To switch between SkyView's display modes, press the topmost (close to microSD slot) button once.

  1. To shut the SkyView unit down, press and hold the topmost button for at least 2 seconds.
