The Annunciator panel could be a side feature of the Master Control Unit. There are one or two ESP32 + 12-16 LEDs. Either RGB (software controlled color) but it’s an argument if this is necessary due to text being printed on the front panel anyway (and there is only one color associated with text). The other option (which much simplifies hardware and software) is to have bright LEDs and the color filter on the front panel. That way you can change the front panel and reconfigure LED functions to support interfaces for different aircraft.
