Module 15 Agentic Product Lifecycle - akash-coded/aws-bedrock-agentcore-strands GitHub Wiki
For the people who decide what gets built, and have to defend it.
Module 15 of 16 · track Product · parallel · Estimated time: 4–5 hours · Prerequisites: Module 00. Module 02 helps for the cost conversations.
A parallel track for product managers, architects and leads. Same domain, different artefacts: which documents are owed at which gate, how to run a gate review, and how to answer the cost-cut ultimatum without destroying the product.
Open the module on GitHub ↗: the slides, notebooks, exercises and solutions are there. This page is the reading order, with the tutorial and the workbench alongside.
The lesson that frames this module is The Agentic PDLC for Product Managers: What Changes Monday (6 min): the product manager's eight steps, which this module practises. Then try the value line calculator in the workbench: the same decision, with your numbers.
- Name the artefacts owed at each stage of an agentic build
- Run a gate review and make a defensible go/no-go call
- Set a guardrail bar that engineering can actually meet
- Respond to a cost-cut demand with options rather than capitulation

Worked solutions live in solutions/. Attempt every exercise closed-book first — the solutions are written to be read after you have a wrong answer to compare against.
- Approving a gate on demo quality. Demos are chosen; production is not.
- A guardrail bar set without asking engineering what it costs to meet.
Every error anyone has hit in this course is in the Error Index, by the exact string. Model access and region problems are in Model and Region Notes. If it is a question rather than an error, check the answered ones first, then ask in Q&A.
Frameworks
- Scope Fence — Intake questions that convert enthusiasm into a request
- Value Trace — The ②→③ link is where value leaks
- Agent Readiness Scorecard — Bring this to the gate, not an opinion
Recipes and procedures
- Agent design review — 60 minutes, ending in a named condition
- Killing an agent project — Stopping well is a capability
- Write acceptance criteria — Rates on a named set
