Deprecate MiAIRR field names as a separate entity: We have maintained a split between MiAIRR field names (which are human readable) and DataRep/Schema fields (which serve as unique and unambiguous keys) for the last two years. Given the recent decisions on Set 6/Rearrangement and the fact that everything is now represented in a single schema, this split appears unnecessary (#380).
Results of OntoVoc Sprint 04/2020: The OntoVoc team had several in-depth discussions on how to make an ontology's concept IDs/IRIs interoperable between repositories. The suggested solution is the use of Compact URIs ("CURIEs"), which look like NCBITAXON:9258, where the prefix (before the colon) is the substitute for the longer and typically invariable part of a concept's IRI. This would also allow repositories to resolve to different IRIs, depending on the their preferences (#385).
