** AIRR2019 ** = General Summary = - First AIRR meeting in Europe, substantial number of newcomers - Good progress regarding the collaboration with IMGT

= New/Planned Activities = * Diagnostics WG (planned): Already over 25 people interested.

• Metaanalysis and Ecosystems Demostrator: Activity was shelved due to a lack of interest and/or resources. ComRepo will revisit this topic early 2020.
• Ethics & Legal: GDPR, IP et al. Contact Jake Sherkow or Tania Bubella for details.
• Ontologies & Vocabularies: Will continue as joint team, next sprint will be in September/October

** Submission to NCBI ** - AIRR-seq data submission to SRA+TLS works, 1.8 M sequences

so far. TLS (Targeted loci study) facilitates storage of quasi-HTS data in Genbank.

• CAIRR/CEDAR provides user-friendly interface for the submission of MiAIRR Set 1-4 data. However, Set 5 and 6 are still challenging.
• Will need to continue discussion on versioning of metadata schema and rebasing of existing data sets.

** Future activities ** - Will restart work on the manuscript in July, current version here:

• Will also discuss about how data and metadata can be deposited and retrieved from general purpose repositories (e.g. NCBI). This might lead to the definition of further action items for the WG.
