** Reports from other groups ** = VocOntol = The joint ComRepo/MiniStd Vocabularies and Ontologies Team (VocOntol) has finished its first sprint. Besides setting criteria for potential candidate ontologies and collecting information on various aspects of implementation, VocOntol has now identified the first four ontologies. You will find their detailed report here, please comment:

** Organization ** = AIRR2019/Panel discussion = - Christian has volunteered to organize the panel from MiniStd side. We will

try to get someone from NCBI to sit on the panel. Other outstanding invites are Patrick Wilson and EuroClonalityNGS.

= Future of MiniStd WG = - Following up on previous discussions, we should aim for a draft proposal

(to be voted on by the GA @AIRR2019) in March 2019. By then we should have a reasonable idea on how far novel issues (like single-cell standards) will overlap/interface with classical MiniStd topics.
  • In case of a conversion to an standing committee (SC) for AIRR Standards maintenance, the SC will keep a "standy-by" list of interested parties, which will be contacted in case the need for changes arises.
  • To "lead by example" (i.e. practice what we preach) we should publish at least our own datasets in a MiAIRR-compliant fashion, before the WG dissolves. This is underscored by our recent interaction with Nature Immunology (see below). => Action Item: Identify own data sets until 02/2019

= iReceptor Plus = - iR+ folks are currently working on a document that will lay out the

proposed interactions between the AIRR Community and the iR+ consortium. Should be done by mid-January, will follow-up in February.

** MiAIRR 1.1 ** = Nat Immunol submission guidlines = - Response from NatureSpringer has been negative, from their mail:

"Unfortunately the word it that there’s no current intention to alter our GTA to reflect the AIRR standards. [...] It’s possible that this issue could be revisited if there’s a massive uptick in submissions in this area in the future."

** Further topics ** - CEDAR has now started to work on multi-DB submissions.
