Llurhore is the capital city of the Skylarkan province of the same name. With a recorded population of 39,000, it is the most populous city in Skylark. Llurhore is a center of Elven culture, as well as a major center of politics, trade, arts, and industry.

Originally the capital of the Elven Nation. Llurhore, which translates to "Sky" in the old elven tongue, is the "sky" in Skylark. The city remains a seat of power, with its council members exerting a great deal of influence over the monarchy in Skylark.

Locally politics are quite murky, while the city council positions are not hereditary, the nobles council seats have mainly passed back and forth between the same few families since before the unification of Skylark. Competition between those families for position and favour can sometimes be fierce and has historically led to some less savoury members of the families acting in ways that lead to censure or even imprisonment. On the commons side of the council, there have been incidents of councillors charged with acts of embezzlement and corruption. The population as a whole has a fairly heavy dose of skepticism with regards to the city's ruling body.
