The Af2Camera object lets you capture video from a video camera attached to the device. When used with the communication server, this object lets you transmit, display, and optionally record the video being captured. With these capabilities, you can develop communication applications such as videoconferencing, instant messaging with video, and so on. You can also use a Af2Camera object without a server — for example, to monitor a video feed from a webcam attached to your local device. To create or reference a Af2Camera object, use Af2Camera.get.
