Replacing defective flash drive
- backup existing flash drive config
- download/run unraid installer, select ZIP as source (the backup that was downloaded) (check the uefi boot box), install
- power down server, remove old drive, insert new drive, power back up
- re-register key on start up
- take note of previous array assignment, make sure everything looks good and start the array
NOTE: You can only do this once per year otherwise you have to contact support

- An alternative is setting up a trial key if you need to get up and running right away (start a new install basically, and go from there)
- if you want to restore your config and you're within that 12 month replacement window you set up a new flash drive with their tool and copy your config over without the .key files (
