How to Use:

  1. Click the gray gun icon to expand the rest of the menus. (Clicking again will reset all settings and minimize to play the game.)

  2. (Optional) Click the gear icon and select your platform. This adds min/max range colors as well as wind offsets into the calculations. If you don't select anything (or reset to default), wind is not factored in. Wind direction is changed via dragging the orange arrow. Wind strength (tiers) are changed by clicking inside the empty compass under the wind vane.

As of v1.1, if a platform has firing dispersions it is indicated with a blue translucent circle under the target marker. The circle size scales with the grid scale so if you are more zoomed out it is smaller, and vise versa. For now, only the intelligence center has dispersion numbers.

  1. Click the scale tool icon and drag and place it on top of one of the 3x3 map sub grids. Drag the slider bar to change the grid scale; it scales from the bottom left corner to make it easier to align. Your measurements rely heavily on this being accurate, and you can get very close. At mortar ranges, I matched binoculars 1-for-1 with azimuth and range, and at artillery distances within a couple meters, so take your time.

As of v1.1, a larger hexagon map sized version is available for aiming intelligence centers and storm cannons. Select it under the options menu.

  1. Click the gun and target markers and drag them to their respective locations in the world.

*The scale tool doesn't need to be adjusted as long as you don't change your map zoom level and can be relocated once sized correctly.

**The solution auto updates if you change the wind at all or move the gun/target markers. To make a manual adjustment, click, but don't move the markers (this forces an on-click event which calls the calculations). Only needed if you change the gun platform and want to recalculate or change the grid scale.

***Wind offsets are not included for mortars, gunboats, or rockets right now. If you have reliable numbers, please send them.
