Using CmisSync with IBM FileNet Content Engine - aegif/CmisSync GitHub Wiki

CmisSync can be used with IBM FileNet Content Engine.
The procedure below has been tested with IBM FileNet Content Engine 5.2, please report success/failure for other versions, thank you!

1. Configure IBM FileNet Content Engine

In the IBM CMIS for FileNet configuration:

  • Disable connection check
  • Disable automatic deployment

The deploy manually.

2. Configure CmisSync

  • Launch CmisSync
  • In the taskbar icon menu, click Add a remote folder
  • Specify as the URL: https://<Server>:9443/fncmis/resources/Service (replace <Server> with the hostname of your server).
  • Complete the wizard
  • CmisSync should now sync the content of your IBM FileNet Content Engine folder to your local computer.
