Using Example Views - adobe-dmeservices/custom-metadata GitHub Wiki
Custom Metadata ships with a collection of example Views that have been curated by partners and Standards bodies. You can use these examples as is or bring properties from one or more Views into a new View that best aligns with your needs.
When you make a new Tab with a local View, you must create a new one or choose from one of the examples. Examples are organized by their contributor. These examples include properly formatted pre-defined options to ensure compliance with Standards and accuracy in data entry.
Once you select an example, the View Editor will display the new View. You can use it as is; you can rearrange, add or delete properties; or you can copy Properties from it for use in other Views. See Using the View Editor for more details on how to manipulate Properties in Views.
Standards-based examples include:
- IPTC
- Museos Abiertos (view on github)
- Creative Commons
- Dublin Core 1 (with and without Structures)
- Dublin Core 2
- IPTC Core (with and without Structures)
- ISAD(G) (with and without Structures)
- Photoshop
- REF17861
- VRA Work (with and without Structures)
- XMP Rights
If you are a Standards body and would like to contribute to the example View collection, please open an issue in this repository.
