File Info offers forms similar to what Bridge displays in its built-in metadata forms. Common schemas are visible by clicking their names in ths list on the left hand side of the window. In the Bridge Preferences, you can also control which common Schemas are visible in the Bridge Metadata panel.
Note: Bridge Preferences do not control what appears in the Custom Metadata Panel.

File Info forms are extensible using the XMP Metadata UI SDK. Any custom forms made with the UI SDK will be available everywhere File Info is available, including other Adobe Desktop applications. Custom Metadata Panel for Bridge does not use FileInfo, so any forms you make with Custom Metadata Panel will not appear in File Info, although data may appear in other form fields.

You can use File Info to confirm that your metadata changes have been applied to the file. Click on Raw Data to view the raw XMP metadata as XML.
