Dependencies

  1. You can assign one or more Dependencies to all field types. Dependencies must be met for the field to become active for the user. You define the specific dependency values in the Options tab via JSON, you define the dependency sources in the Advanced tab.

    • Navigate to the Advanced tab in the View Editor. Click the dropdown menu and select one or more field names.

    • Once you are finished, just click out and you should see the Dependencies show up as a placeholder in the Dependencies field.

    • You can remove Dependencies by selecting the field again from the dropdown menu.
  2. Once you set Dependencies for a field, that field will be disabled until its parent field has a value. When a field is disabled, it will appear to be greyed out and will look similar to the image below.
