ICAR Animal Data Exchange Working Group – Technical meeting 20 March 2020

• In attendance: Andrew, Anton, Arjan, Bert, Conny, Craig, David, Erwin, John, Kor, Marvin, Thomas D, Thomas P, Sven.

1. Documentation (GitHub issue 72)

• Erwin had updated the readme file
• Andrew had started some more Wiki updates
• Arjan and Anton are preparing the URL Schemes for use and testing code generation with C# and Java. (See PR #87)
• There is some work still be done on tidying up code generation.

2. Lactation (GitHub issue 65)

• Erwin has made a Pull Request (PR #82) with the Lactation Resource changes from last meeting

3. ADE Webinars

• The group discussed the presentations for rehearsal on 2 April.
• Bert will talk to Johannes about how this will be facilitated, and arrange a slide deck template.

4. Ideas for after version 1.0

We agreed that ideas should be prepared as "Issues". First noting the idea, then by commenting on the issue, suggest how data might be used/structured. Ideas included:

• Feed intake
• Health diagnosis and treatments (there is work on this almost ready to use)
• Body condition score
• Conformation or inspection scores
• Sessions
• Herd level events
• Inventory of feed - there might be some relationship between this and the AgGateway work on inventory and bill of materials.

5. Introductions

We had introductions from new attendees:
